Our Research
Over the last 4 years, Cingulum Health has published 7 cohort studies examining patient outcomes and treatment variables in stroke, anxiety, major depression, traumatic brain injury, post-neurosurgical deficits, and sleep quality in affective disorders.
1. Anxiety Paper (n = 28)
Significant anxiety reduction using parcel-guided aTBS.
Common targets were left 8Av and PGs; minor side effects only.
2. Depression Paper (n = 26)
62% reached remission post-treatment; 68% at follow-up.
Quality of life improved across all patients.
3. Post-Surgical (Craniotomy) Paper (n = 12)
All patients showed EQ-5D improvement.
One case showed 88% BDI reduction; no adverse events.
4. Sleep Quality Paper (n = 27)
Sleep, mood, and EQ-5D scores improved after treatment.
Sleep gains correlated with quality of life.
5. TBI/Post-Concussive Syndrome Paper (n = 19)
100% improved on EQ-5D
55% of depressed and 80% of anxious patients responded.
6. Tinnitus Paper (n = 9)
75% improved on TRQ; 100% on THI.
No major side effects; most targets were non-auditory
Last year Cingulum published the largest safety study to date of connectome-guided whole brain TMS. This safety study shows that targeting beyond the standard dlPFC—into functionally abnormal regions identified by fMRI—is both feasible and safe, even in vulnerable populations like stroke and post-craniotomy patients.

cgTMS Assisted Therapy
cgTMS is a non-invasive form of brain stimulation that uses a patient’s unique brain map (or connectome) to target gentle magnetic pulses to induce brain plasticity. By combining cgTMS with therapies, a synergistic effect is produced that is often more effective, leading to lasting improvements in mood, cognition, and motor function.
